Ballangeigh Reg'd. Golden Retrievers

Soon after acquiring our first golden retriever 'Sassy' - Can.Ch.Gowrielea's Sass Jordan CD, WCI in 1989 it became evident that this little bundle of golden energy would change our lives completely.  I became started competing in obedience, show and field events and Tony became involved with Golden Rescue. 

Thanks to many mentors along the way, in particular Liz & Bruce Russell (Gowrielea) and Don & Anna Morison (Donamor) who shared their wisdom we continued to learn more about the breed. After careful planning on January 8, 1992 we welcomed our first litter into the world and Ballangeigh Reg'd kennel was born.  

More than twenty years later we continue to strive to produce quality purebred golden retrievers who are wonderful family companions and performance dogs. Our breeding stock are screened clear of eight inherited diseases/disorders and meet the breed standard for conformation and temperament.  We produce only a few litters ensuring we can devote our time to raising well socialized, healthy and happy puppies and dogs.
